To celebrate the 80th birthday of a rather special AEC double decker the Leicester Transport Heritage Trust have produced a 24 page (A4 size) soft back publication featuring the story of 329.

Mike Greenwood and Bob Fleming have researched the history of ex Leicester City Transport AEC Renown CBC 921. New in 1939 and now preserved at the Abbey Pumping Station Museum in Leicester the publication features the service life with LCT and it’s incredible existence after LCT and into preservation. It is the story of a bus on which fortune smiled many times enabling it to be the icon it is now.

All money raised from this publication will go towards the various projects of the Leicester Transport Heritage Trust.

The book is available at £5 plus £2.50 post & package from LTHT 13 Warren Rd, Enderby, Leicester LE19 2DR Cheque payable to: Leicester Transport Heritage Trust
